You are what you eat. Literally! Your body doesn't only digest what you eat and drink, your body actually absorbs everything you put on it and in to it. The first cup of coffee in the morning, the fumes of your hairspray, the make up and lotions, the sugar glazed donut at 9 am, the slice of pizza at lunch, the cigarette afterwards, the afternoon-pick-me-up candy from your co-workers desk, the burger for dinner, the potato chips and the wine while watching TV... Every bit you eat, drink, inhale or put on your skin is being absorbed by your body, broken down in your body and therefore becomes a part of you.
...I think, you're getting the point.
Now, improving the quality of food and liquids you are putting into your body should become a lifestyle and not just another diet that you do for a few days. You can’t eat healthy for a few days and then go back to the choices you made before. That's not how this works. Eating "original" foods rather than processed foods needs to become a daily habit. Staying away from the "bad stuff" as much as you can should be your goal. Invest in yourself and in your health by choosing the food and beverages your body was designed for to process. Also, cut back on all the products you expose your body to! Do you really need 3 layers of lotion and make up every day? If you do, try natural products and stuff that has not been tested on animals. And remember, true beauty comes from within. You can improve the quality and look of your skin by eating clean and unprocessed foods and drinking plain, filtered water. Not only will your body improve but your wallet as well.
